Liz Toole is an artist living in England. For her prints and paintings she creates imaginary scenes filled with the patterns of nature inspired by the Sussex countryside. Liz looks at details of trees and plants, textiles and bird encyclopedias merging these sources to create wallpaper like patterns that celebrate the English decorative tradition. Within her work she uses nature as a metaphor for human emotions.
