Clifford Ellis was a graphic artist and illustrator who often collaborated with his wife Rosemary Ellis. From the 1930s on, they designed posters and book jackets and they founded the Bath Academy of Art in England. The designs in this notecard set were from a design commission from London Transport — each featuring a different bird and its habitat. Twenty assorted 5'' x 7'' blank notecards (5 each of 4 designs) with white envelopes in a decorative box.
